This is a review of the data recovery software – 'Handy Recovery'. The software is published by the company 'Softlogica' which is known for producing top of the range computer software. So is 'Handy Recovery' worth looking at? Lets find out.

The website itself looks a little out dated but everything you'll need to know about the software is there. They provide a 30 day free trial which allows you to recover one file per day – this is a lot better than most of its competitors demo's but one file per day is obviously impractical for most users.

Purchasing, Downloading and installing 'Handy Recovery' is very simple and once installed you can open up the program and start recovering. The user interface of the software isn't the friendliest or prettiest we've seen although using the software is reasonably easy. As usual, the program is set out in a windows explorer style, making choosing which files to recover simple.

The scan speed of 'Handy Recovery' is pretty slow compared to other software but its efficiency is why we've included it in our top ten list. The scan finds a huge amount of files and the majority of the files we needed to recover were in the list – as usual you can scan your drive using the free trial to determine whether the software is for you or not.

There's not much else we can say about 'Handy Recovery' – it is a good piece of software and is very effective, but there are better choices out there in the same price range. The program seems slightly out dated but it is still worth looking at. The good free trial may also tempt some people.
