'Quick Recovery' is a very simple data recovery program which is very easy to use but a little light on options. For this review we'll start at the website. At the site you can look at a number of products including server recovery software, email recovery software and the software we're reviewing here – 'Quick Recovery'. You can download a demo of the software on the website and purchasing, downloading and installing the program is quick and easy.

The first thing we noticed when opening 'Quick Recovery' for the first time was its simplicity. There wasn't a whole lot of options and the software was laid out in a very basic fashion. You proceed through a small number of 'wizard' style steps very quickly and get straight on with the scan.

As the name suggests, the scanning time in 'Quick Recovery' is – quick! And after the basic user interface and quick scanning speed our hopes weren't high for the results. But we were wrong, the results in 'Quick Recovery' were more than impressive. Every file we had recently deleted was easily findable and the amount of files that were ready to be recovered was more than impressive.

Although 'Quick Recovery' is very easy to use, it does come with a set of help files and documentation if you get stuck. There's also email and phone support available on the website, although I doubt you'll ever need either.

So how should we describe 'Quick Recovery'? The software is easy to use, basic and returns a decent amount of files ready to be recovered. That being said, its upsides could also be its downsides. The ease of use and how basic the software is is probably not enough for the more experienced computer user and although the effectiveness of the program was good, it wasn't the best we've seen. So to sum up? 'Quick Recovery' is an average data recovery program which will probably be great for the average or beginner user. Still, there are better options available.
